Lead cashier (Former Employee) says

"Lack of professional work techniques, there is no communication or organization. The DM don't care if there is problems in the store or how to work things out. I would not recommend this place to work !"

Retail Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"Wasn't a fan of working retail. Especially the location. Wasnt my sense of style so it was hard to sell. Didn't click with the employees. Lasted a short time."

SALES ASSOCIATE (Former Employee) says

"I did not like this job one bit. My boss was not a well trained boss and did what she wanted, regardless of complaints. I also did not like management. If I did anything "wrong", instead of being talked to, my boss would just cut my hours in half.Absolutely none."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"The worst company ever. NEVER work there. You will hate working there. Go find a job doing landscaping or something else than working in this dump. They make no money and for some reason are always the last one to leave the outlets. They overwork their employees for no pay and they have like 5 managers who do absolutely nothing. Dont go there.NothingEverything about Van Heusen in Wrentham, Ma"

Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee) says

"My manager pawned all her failures off on me. She lied about everything and favored the young kids that worked for the company who didn’t work hard and they didn’t take the job serious. The Corning NY location is probably the worst. They will fire you and make up lies about you to get you fired.NonEverything"

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"The managers are rude in Vero beach. They wanted to give me two days working 4 hours one day then next. There stupid rewards program you have to get customers email for stupid 10% Off whatever they buy in the store. You have to get 15 to 20 rewards if you dont no hours for you. I stay home more then two weeks. This job was the worst job I ever had so I quit.Discount on clothesNo breaks short of workers."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"While PVH provides high quality clothes at great prices, they are a horrible company to work for. Unless you are management, you receive no benefits of any kind (healthcare, sick/vacation time accrual). It is a minimum wage, dead end job with no opportunity for advancement. Management also failed to understand that sometimes family needs to come first, and that they are also subject to flexible scheduling rather than scheduling themselves so that they can be with their family to go to church, etc. Everyone deserves the same consideration.Free food during holiday weekends, great co-workersWork/Life Balance, Compensation/Benefits, Job Security/Advancement"

Stock Associate (Current Employee) says

"General Manager is inexperienced, unfair, lazy, and has no respect for his employees. Only hires his friends and thinks work is a social outing. Schedule is never posted."

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) says

"Van Heusen doesn't care about anyone who isn't management or above. The management team would much rather sit in the backrooms on their phones or socializing with each other instead of actually working, leaving the supervisors and other associates to run the store, sometimes on their own for extended periods of time. Work hours per week are distributed by corporate to each store without any consideration of how much work actually needs to be done (such as stock, reorganizing the stores, preparing for visits or sales, etc) and get sapped by the continuous enforced hiring of full time staff, leaving the part time staff with the scraps. If someone on the management team wants to work overtime to earn a little extra cash, the part time employees get shafted regardless of their needs. They have never respected the labour laws stating a minimum notice of 24 hours of shift change OR payment of 3 hours. NO ONE ever takes responsibility for their actions and no one wants to invoke disciplinary actions to those who deserve it. Good work is only recognized by reward program sign ups v.s. total sales and associates are punished regardless of how many total sales were completed. The company's dress code is primarily office casual but doesn't allow the associates to wear the products it sells."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I would not say this is a long term job. It is complicated to get the hours you would like and some of the employees are not the greatest. It’s a nice organzized store but behind the employee door it’s a mess.Easy JobNot very Flexable"

Sales (Former Employee) says

"This company is out for it self dose not care about the little guy. Small staff unable to take sick time and time off when needed. Manager passes the buck every chance he gets. If you like to do more then your fair share of work go for the job. Not enough hours four associates only able to give them under 15 hours unless your part of management. things I learned was never send anyone their for a job unless they want little pay and no hours. They like to tell you everything is easy and O.K. but it ends up not being true. Every day turns in to a nightmare with having to deal with the staff.no hours bad pay even worst manager"

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I spent a year as a sales associate here for the experience and looking back, I don't know how I did it. For the minimal pay that you get working here, they wear you down to the bone. They constantly ask to stay past your scheduled hours, and floor sets (when company heads come to the stores) are worst of all due to the amount of work you are forced to do that should have been done the entire time so things like that wouldn't happen. Van Heusen holds its employees up to ridiculous standards and it's not worth the time, the pay, the coworkers, the anything. PVH isn't a bad company, but for your sake, just leave Van Heusen alone.Short Breaks, No Hours, Impossible Demands, Horrible Pay, No Benefits, etc."

Manager (Former Employee) says

"You can see that management was pressured and it trickled down to all of the employees. School- work life balance was not prioritized and I felt that I did not matter."

Retail Associate (Former Employee) says

"The manager is the worst. Every time you step foot into that store you feel a bad vibe. I learned how to fold shirts. My co workers were cool people..Cool co workersHorrible manager"

Sales Representative/Customer Service (Former Employee) says

"most of the people where nice but some management when they came back where extremely rude and hostile to changes made while gone not very flexible and extremely demandingdiscountmanagement, short breaks, demanding"

Customer service (Former Employee) says

"For this position the hours were not set at all; mostly one day a week. Part of management is not the greatest, but this may have change in the last year or two. Not reasonable for paying bills if you are just a sales associate."

Visual Merchandiser &Sales Executive (Part Time) says

"very busy atmosphere. lot of works. and too much working hours. comparably low salary packages."
